1 Deceased, 2 Injured in Austin from Head-on Collision

At 9:30 pm on Tuesday, September 7, a man driving a black sedan hit two cars, losing his life from a head-on collision with the second car. The accident occurred on McNeil Drive near US 183 and San Felipe Boulevard in Northwest Austin.
Details About the Head-On Collision
According to news reports by KVUE and KXAN, a man driving the black sedan had initially hit a car with four people inside, but caused no serious injuries.
After driving away, the driver then hit another vehicle with two people inside. Austin-Travis County EMS pronounced the driver of the black sedan dead at the scene while the two other victims were taken to the hospital, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains an ongoing investigation.
