92-year-old woman dies in fatal McAllen crash

A 92-year-old woman is dead following a February 2 crash in McAllen, according to a press release from the McAllen Police Department.

At about 9:51 a.m., police responded to the 8400 block of S. 23rd Street in order to investigate the crash that involved a Honda CRV and a Toyota RAV4.

All parties involved in the crash remained at the scene, according to the release.

Dolores Acevedo was identified as the decedent while another person is reported to have been hospitalized with serious injury.

McAllen police continue to investigate the crash.
