J Gonzalez Injury Attorney

Deep-Rooted Values

Our founder, Jesse Gonzalez, was born on July 11th, 1968 in McAllen, the city he calls home. However, life led him to Minnesota at a young age where he learned the value of hard work and the importance of constant determination. Jesse worked in the Land of 10,000 Lakes for 17 years as a migrant worker to help his family make ends meet.

After completing his high school education, Jesse enrolled in the University of Texas – Pan American and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduation, Jesse put his education to work at La Joya ISD where he taught until 1997.

The Will to Do More

Jesse took the injustices and hardships he witnessed as an underprivileged child in Minnesota to heart and never forgot them. These experiences sparked the will to do more and he subsequently pursued a doctor of jurisprudence degree. His desire to learn the origins of English common law led him to Europe, where he took the opportunity to study at Oxford University in Oxford, England.

Jesse’s hard work paid off when he began to intern under Federal Judge Prado in San Antonio during his second year in law school. In 2000, Jesse earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law.

Providing Relentless Representation

After completing his studies, Jesse returned to the Rio Grande Valley to make McAllen the home of J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys. Today, the firm continues to uphold the rights of every victim of personal injury with offices in McAllen, Weslaco, Harlingen, Brownsville, Rio Grande City, and Edinburg (coming soon).
