It’s all about the margaritas with a twist of Valley limes! Harlingen’s Inaugural Margarita Festival takes place Sat, May 7, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Lon C. Hill Park (1217 Fair Park Blvd). This festival is a celebration of Harlingen’s unique blend of Mexican culture, and the citrus farming industry.
Visitors can sample up to seven signature margaritas from Harlingen’s finest bars, and restaurants as they compete for the title of BEST Margarita. The winner will be voted on by festival attendees. The public will also have a chance to learn about the different types of tequila as they travel the festival’s “Tequila Trail,” from Blanco to Añejo. Tequila aficionados are invited to expand their pallets and experience the different tastes of Agave.
Parties will be held at two L&F Lounges, with samples of the newest brands and the hottest merchandise. Visitors can also satisfy their culinary cravings with the savory taste of local and international food vendors.
Margarita Fest will also offer vibrant Latin music performances by performers such as Ache de Barrio, Los Garcia Brothers, a Selena Tribute Artist, salsa dancers, and more! The inaugural Harlingen Margarita fest has become one of the most-anticipated events in the city!
