68th Annual Texas Tour: “El Valle: Border, Beach, and Beyond”

If you’re a fan of antique automobiles, Harlingen is the place to be from March 31 to April 3, 2022. For the first time ever, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) – RGV Chapter will be hosting the 68th Annual Texas Tour: “El Valle: Border, Beach, and Beyond.”
Antique automobile enthusiasts from all over the state will bring their vintage vehicles to the Valley for the four-day event, which will include social gatherings, road trips to local points of interest, a raffle, and car competitions in multiple categories. The event will be based at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel located at 751 Harlingen Heights Drive I.
Since its inception in 1935, the AACA has been all about preserving the sight, sound, and feel of antique automobiles. Whether it’s the clatter of the single-cylinder brass-era cars, or the heavy thumping of big block Detroit muscle cars, there’s something about antique autos that fuels the addiction of these kindred spirits. Vintage cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles will be on display for viewing and discussion. Judging will be held Friday, April 1.
