Details About the Wixon Valley Car Accident
According to local authorities, the car accident that happened Sunday afternoon miraculously left no serious injury or fatalities.
A 2005 Chevrolet Malibu traveling eastbound on SH21 swerved to avoid another vehicle turning into a private driveway, causing the driver of the Malibu to cut across the center median and enter the opposite lane.
That’s when it collided with an oncoming 2019 Dodge Ram pickup. Reviewing the image provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the trunk and part of the back seats of the Malibu were torn off.
Despite the severity of the crash, the driver only sustained minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. The driver of the pickup truck didn’t require hospitalization.
