Driver arrested in Mission hit-and-run crash

Mission police say a 19-year-old woman is in custody after she allegedly struck a bicyclist with her car and fled the scene.
Officers responded to the September 23 hit-and-run crash at 4:46 p.m. on Conway Avenue and the US 83 frontage road.
According to Mission police spokesman Art Flores, the female driver continued to her job at a nearby fast food restaurant where she was later arrested. Her identity was not immediately disclosed and no details on her arraignment were available.
The 39-year-old male bicyclist, who also was not identified, was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at this writing.
