Posted on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at 4:09 pm

On Wednesday, June 9th, a 25-year-old man was killed after trying to cross Highway 358.

Details About the Car Accident in Corpus Christi

According to reports, the incident happened at around 5 a.m. on the highway locally known as South Padre Island Drive.

The pedestrian was attempting to cross a portion of state Highway 358 when he was struck by two vehicles and a motorcycle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Corpus Christi Police closed off the westbound lanes of the highway for approximately four hours and diverted traffic to state Highway 286 while they cleared up the scene.

Pedestrian Accident Statistics in Texas

Unfortunately, Texas has issues with pedestrian safety. According to data from the Texas Department of Transportation, pedestrian deaths are on the rise and now account for one in five traffic fatalities in the state.

In 2019, Texas saw a total of 5,975 accidents involving pedestrians, resulting in 669 deaths, which was a 5% increase over the previous year. Another 1,317 individuals were seriously injured.

These numbers are absolutely abysmal, and it is the duty of all Texans to improve the safety of our roads for our loved ones and community alike.

#Pedestrian traffic fatalities are 3X more likely to occur in urban areas vs rural areas via @TopLawyerRGV #KnowtheFacts #EndTheStreak – click to tweet

Main Causes of Pedestrian Accidents

Since 2015, TxDOT has spent more than $100 million in federal and state funding to improve sidewalks, curbs, and striping for pedestrian accessibility, safety, and mobility. More than $100 million in grants to local projects have also been awarded to create safe routes to schools, multi-use pathways, sidewalks, and bike paths in rural and small urban areas.

According to crash reports from law enforcement agencies throughout the state, the two leading causes of pedestrian fatalities are:

  • Pedestrians failing to follow traffic safety guidelines and laws and being struck when attempting to cross streets or roadways.
  • Motorists engaged in distracted driving, speeding, or failing to yield the right of way.

Alcohol also plays a significant factor in many pedestrian-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities.

Street Racing in Mission Leads to Arrests

Posted on Monday, June 14th, 2021 at 5:31 pm

An increase in law enforcement presence to prevent illegal drag racing led to the arrest of three men on Thursday, June 10.

Details About the Incident

The City of MIssion reported on Friday that the Mission Police Dept. Traffic Unity Bureau had caught three suspects involved in the act of street racing on the night of June 10.

The three men were charged with racing on a highway, and each had their bond set at $1,000.

Laws Regarding Illegal Street Racing

The state of Texas upped the severity of illegal street racing back in 2003. For first time offenders, illegal street racing:

    • Is a Class B misdemeanor where offenders can face up to 180 days of jail time and a fine of up to $2,000. It isn’t uncommon for the offender’s license to be suspended for up to a year, where he or she must work to complete 10 hours of community service to get it back.

For repeat offenders, illegal street racing:

    • Can be a second-degree felony where the offender’s license is suspended. If it is deemed as such, they can face a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 20 years, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.

For those racing while under the influence of alcohol and/or other substances:

    • If an individual is caught street racing while drunk, the punishment goes from a Class B misdemeanor to a second-degree felony. This punishment is also given to drivers with open containers found in their vehicle, regardless of their blood alcohol level.

Even passengers and spectators can be punished:

    • Passengers in vehicles involved in street racing can be charged with a Class B misdemeanor, including a $2,000 fine, up to six months in jail, or both.
    • Spectators simply watching street racing can be fined up to $500 and have their vehicles towed.

For third-time offenders, illegal street racing can lead to life in prison. Additionally, illegal racers who accidentally kill someone can face manslaughter charges and other penalties.

Statistics Regarding Street Racing

    • The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that street racing fatalities were more likely to occur on urban roadways.
    • Street racing fatalities are six times more likely to occur when traveling over 65 mph.
    • Street racing fatalities are usually male teenagers who have prior crashes and driving violations.

Wrong-Way Driver Loses Life, Injures 3 Others

Posted on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 12:21 am

A wrong-way driver caused a head-on collision on I-37 in San Antonio on Sunday, June 6th. The incident left a family of three hospitalized and the wrong-way driver dead.

Details About the Car Accident in San Antonio

According to San Antonio police, the crash took place at around 12:30 a.m. on the 9000 block of I-37.

The wrong-way driver was traveling in the wrong direction in the southbound lanes of the interstate when they hit another vehicle head-on that was carrying a family of three, including a father, mother, and their teenage son.

The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the family of three were taken to Brooke Army Military Center in serious condition.

I-37 was shut down for several hours as police investigated the car accident.

About Wrong-Way Car Accidents in Texas

Texas is one of the leading states for wrong-way accidents. TxDOT has reported that within a four-year span, there were more than 3,300 wrong-way crashes causing 271 deaths.

Research shows that many of these accidents occur because of drivers under the influence of alcohol. In fact, The National Transportation Board (NTSB) revealed that in about 69 percent of fatal wrong-way accidents, alcohol was a prevailing factor.

69% of fatal wrong-way accidents involve impaired driving. #dontdrinkanddrive

Most collisions involving wrong-way driving occur between midnight and 3:00 A.M., which many studies have linked to when people begin leaving bars. NTSB also reported that about 57 percent of these accidents occur on the weekend.

While driving impaired, people become disoriented and cannot function as they normally would. A current study found that intoxicated drivers often get tunnel vision, focusing on the road in front of them, and not paying attention to road signs.

However, alcohol isn’t always the cause, there are also indications that age can be a contributing factor. NTSB showed that drivers over the age of 70 are responsible for around 15 percent of wrong-way accidents. This may be due to difficulty seeing signage and vision problems that occur because of age.

Additional factors that can contribute to a wrong-way driving accident include:

    • Distracted driving
    • Poorly marked ramps
    • Unfamiliar roadways
    • Poorly designed ramps
    • Lack of visibility
    • Insufficient signage
    • Drowsy driving
    • Drivers experiencing a mental health crisis

Preventing Wrong-Way Driving Crashes

The Texas Department of Transportation along with the Texas Transportation Institute teamed up several years ago to analyze years of accident data to garner a better understanding of why drivers end up on the wrong side of the road.

They concluded that wrong-way crashes are often linked to exit ramps on the left side of freeways. It was recommended to cease the construction of such ramps and that any existing left side ramps should be retrofitted with reflective pavement arrows pointing in the correct direction of the flow of traffic.

Other preventative measures have included an increased awareness of the consequences of driving under the influence. Texas has had several campaigns to increase awareness including Faces of Drunk Driving, holiday campaigns, and many more.

While wrong-way driving can never be completely prevented, we all need to be aware while on the road. If you see another driver going the wrong way contact 911 immediately!

You can save a life.

If you’ve been involved in a wrong-way driving car accident in the Rio Grande Valley, contact the McAllen car accident lawyers at J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys today for help making a case or claim. You only pay if we win!

High-Speed Chase in Brownsville Leads to Crash

Posted on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 12:09 am

A high-speed chase in Brownsville on Monday, June 7th, led to an accident on International Boulevard.

Details About Monday’s Car Accident in Brownsville

Officials for the Texas Dept. of Public Safety reported that DPS troopers attempted to pull over a red Dodge Caravan near Dockberry and Browne Road when the vehicle unexpectedly sped off. A high-speed chase ensued for nearly six miles before the Dodge crashed into another vehicle on International Boulevard.

No one in the SUV was injured in the crash; however, the three individuals in the Dodge Caravan were able to escape on foot.

Local authorities are requesting that anyone with information contact them.

Police Vehicle Pursuits and Car Accident Statistics

According to Safer-America.com:

    • From 1996 to 2015, an average of 355 people (about 1 per day) lost their lives in pursuit-related crashes.
    • From 2014 to 2018, over 2,000 people were killed in police pursuits.
    • Nearly one-third (29%) of those who were killed in police pursuits were bystanders.

Additionally, the National Highway and Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) has data that shows:

    • Between 1979 to 2017, approximately 13,100 people were killed in police pursuits.
    • In 2017, the number of those who lost their lives in police chases (416) was 22% higher than the 2013 numbers.
    • Between 2014 to 2017, bystander deaths in police pursuits reached 2,700.

Can Police be Held Liable in a High-Speed Chase Car Accident?

While the dangers of high-speed pursuits have been debated considerably over the last several years, and even with federal agencies noting the dangers of high-speed chases in populated areas, the dangers for other motorists and pedestrians remain.

Texas DPS allows for high-speed chases to commence regardless of the crime, and generally, Texas officers are less likely to call off a chase once it has begun.

As per the Texas Tort Claims Act:

A governmental unit in the state is liable for: (1)  property damage, personal injury, and death proximately caused by the wrongful act or omission or the negligence of an employee acting within his scope of employment if: (A)  the property damage, personal injury, or death arises from the operation or use of a motor-driven vehicle or motor-driven equipment;  and (B)  the employee would be personally liable to the claimant according to Texas law;  and (2)  personal injury and death so caused by a condition or use of tangible personal or real property if the governmental unit would, were it a private person, be liable to the claimant according to Texas law.”

While law enforcement agents are granted certain powers and due leniencies to legally handle their duties, they may still hold some responsibility (liability) for injuries obtained in a car accident caused by a high-speed chase.

If you have been involved in an accident resulting from a high-speed chase, you may have legal options. Contact the Brownsville car accident lawyers at J. Gonzalez Injury Lawyers today.

Brain Injury Awareness: What to Know About Traumatic Brain Injuries

Posted on Friday, June 4th, 2021 at 7:25 pm

Personal injuries can be caused by a wide array of accidents including car accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, dog bites, and even defective products that cause you bodily harm.

One of the most dangerous–but least often noted–types of personal injury is a traumatic brain injury, otherwise known as a TBI. Traumatic brain injuries are one of the leading causes of death and disability in the United States, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimating that approximately 1.5 to 1.7 million Americans suffer from a TBI each year.

A TBI can mean the difference between life and death. That’s why the McAllen personal injury attorneys at J. Gonzalez Injury Lawyers are dedicated to ensuring that our community members know what a TBI is and how to determine if someone in their family may have one.

The Basics of Brain Injuries

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke denotes TBIs as a brain injury caused by sudden trauma. The effects of a TBI are often influenced by the severity of the injury, the age and gender of the victim, genetics, and a number of other factors.

In the United States, the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) classifies the severity of TBIs:

  • Mild: Loss of consciousness and/or confusion and disorientation for shorter than 30 minutes.
  • Moderate: Loss of consciousness from 20 minutes to 6 hours.
  • Severe: Loss of consciousness greater than 6 hours.

As TBIs are still being medically understood, it should be noted that a severe TBI does not necessarily mean a lifetime injury, while a TBI categorized as “mild” could lead to long-lasting health issues.

Over those who suffer a #TBI, nearly 80% are treated in an ER, approximately 275,000 are hospitalized, and over 50,000 lose their lives as a result of the injury. #JGonzalezInjuryAttorneys

Frequent Causes of Traumatic Brain Injuries

Traumatic brain injuries often happen as a result of:

  • Falls – Falls account for 40% of all TBIs.
  • Unintentional trauma – Caused by being struck by or against an object.
  • Motor vehicle accidents – The trauma of a crash can easily lead to a TBI.
  • Trauma from violence – Individuals who are violently attacked can deal with severe brain injuries.
  • Sports-related injuries – Contact sports like football or soccer increase the risk of suffering a TBI.
  • Work-related – Slip-and-fall accidents at work frequently lead to brain injuries.
  • Combat-related – War veterans are often victims of TBIs.

Health Problems Caused by Brain Injuries

Serious short term and long-term medical complications that can arise from a traumatic brain injury include, but are not limited to:

  • Seizures
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Blood vessel damage
  • Nerve damage
  • Coma
  • Vegetative state & persistent vegetative state
  • Severely altered consciousness
  • Brain death

Possible Compensation for Your Traumatic Brain Injury

Teen Loses Life in ATV Accident In McAllen

Posted on Friday, June 4th, 2021 at 5:58 pm

An accident that took place on the night of Monday, May 31st, left one teenager dead and another hospitalized.

Details About the McAllen ATV Accident

The accident took place close to 10 p.m. near the intersection of West Military Highway and South 10th Street, according to the McAllen Fire Dept.

Two teenagers, aged 15 and 18, were traveling on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) when they were involved in a crash with a passenger vehicle. According to McAllen police, the 15-year-old lost their life as a result of injuries suffered in the accident, while the other individual was taken to a local hospital.

According to a 2020 report by the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC):

  • Between 2015 to 2017, 2,210 incidents resulted in 2,258 deaths.
  • Of these reported deaths, 1,697 involved ATVs.

#ATVAccidents #JGonzalezInjuryAttorneys

The Dangers of Riding an ATV

While ATVs are frequently used by teenagers for recreation, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) discourages the use of these vehicles by teens aged 16 or younger.

While these vehicles may seem harmless, they have very powerful engines that can reach up to 80 MPH, which can make them a challenge for inexperienced drivers to control. Additionally, ATVs offer little-to-no protection and frequently are not equipped with seatbelts nor any other safety protection devices.

Unfortunately, rollovers and collisions happen frequently on these vehicles, and with no additional safety features, an ATV accident can easily turn fatal.

Alongside inexperienced drivers, additional factors that often lead to ATV accidents include:

  • Reckless driving
  • Bad road conditions
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Lack of federal consumer warnings and regulations
  • Driving under the influence

It is important to note that ATVs are not allowed on public roadways and should only be used when off-roading.

Mother & Son Injured in Accident with Suspected Drunk Driver

Posted on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at 9:01 pm

On the night of Friday, May 29th, a mother and son were hospitalized following a head-on crash with a suspected DWI driver in San Antonio.

Details About the Incident

According to police, a man driving a Ford pickup truck was involved in a minor accident with the driver of a Dodge pickup truck.

After the incident, the driver of the Ford fled the scene before losing control of his vehicle on Zarzamora Street and crashing head-on with a woman and her son.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries, and the driver of the Ford truck was detained for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Statistics of DWI Car Accidents in Texas

Unfortunately, Texas has a bad history of drunk driving accidents. The state is ranked 11th worst for drunk driving incidents based on a per capita basis.

In 2019, there were:

    • 788 total DUI fatal crashes and 886 related fatalities.
    • 1,603 suspected serious DUI crashes resulting in 2,151 crashes.
    • 3,630 non-incapacitating DUI crashes resulting in 5,126 non-incapacitating injuries.
    • 4,154 possible injury crashes resulting in 6,818 possible injuries.

The good news is that drunk driving-related fatalities are on the decline. In 2010, there were 1,074 DUI fatalities, while 2019 saw 866 deaths related to DUI accidents.

Signs of a Drunk Driver

Knowing how to spot a drunk driver on the road can help you act accordingly and prevent a car accident. While it may not always be easy to tell if an individual is drunk driving, there are some signs to take note of:

    • Driver is swerving dramatically.
    • Driver is crossing lanes or straddling more than one.
    • Driver is on the wrong side of the road.
    • Driver is making unexpected turns.
    • Driver is traveling slowly and clumsily.
    • Driver is passing red lights and not following traffic signals.

Brownsville Man Loses Life in Motorcycle Accident

Posted on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 10:51 pm

A 63-year-old Brownsville man lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Brownsville on Wednesday, May 26th.

Details About the Incident

According to a spokesperson for the Texas Dept. of Public Safety, the incident occurred at approximately 10 PM on Old Port Isabel Road and Robindale Road in Brownsville.

Preliminary investigations show that the 63-year-old was traveling northbound on a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he attempted a turn. A driver error led to the man striking a utility post.

The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Brownsville Police Dept. continues to investigate the incident.

Common Causes of Motorcycle Accidents

Every driver on the road has a duty of care. When they fail to meet this responsibility, they can cause a serious accident that can lead to severe injuries.

Some of the most frequently noted causes of motorcycle accidents include:

    • Distracted driving. Motorcyclists who are distracted because of cell phone use or who fail to pay attention to their surroundings can easily fall victim to a serious accident.
    • Driving under the influence. The use of drugs or alcohol prior to riding a motorcycle can lead to a fatal accident.
    • Speeding. One of the most frequently noted causes of car accidents as well, motorcyclists speeding may not react within a timely manner to prevent an accident.
    • Sudden stops. Motorcyclists who crash into a vehicle or who are struck by one because of a failure to stop often face life-changing injuries.
    • Inexperienced drivers. Inexperienced drivers may make mistakes and unsafe movement while traveling that can lead to a collision.
    • Defective motorcycle parts. A defective motorcycle part can quickly lead to motorcyclists suffering catastrophic injuries when they fail.

Most Common Motorcycle Accident Injuries

One of the dangers of riding a motorcycle is that drivers are physically exposed. When an accident takes place, there are few forms of protection and safety measures.

Some of the most serious injuries that motorcyclists deal with as the result of an accident include:

    • Head injuries. Unfortunately, not every motorcyclist wears a helmet. When a rider fails to protect themselves, they can easily sustain head trauma. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have found that helmets reduce the risk of head injury by 69 percent.
    • Neck injuries. Neck injuries are closely related to head injuries and can be just as severe. Again, failure to wear a helmet can lead to spinal cord damage, including partial or total paralysis.
    • Road rash. Road rash occurs when a motorcyclist slides across the pavement, suffering scrapes, cuts, and bruises. The resulting injuries can lead to infections, surface nerve damage, and the need for skin grafts.
    • Arm and leg injuries. Injuries to arms and legs include broken bones, knees, twisted ankles, torn ligaments, or severe lacerations that can require amputation.
    • Bodily trauma. When an individual is thrown off their bike, they may suffer from pelvic fractures, trauma to their torso, broken ribs, or even internal bleeding.

Be Aware of Texas Motorcycle Laws

There are numerous Texas laws intended to not only keep riders safe on the road, but to also ensure that the riders are doing their part to keep others safe. Important Texas motorcycle laws that individuals should be aware of include:

    • Motorcycle riders are required to have a valid class M license to legally ride in Texas.
    • Just like traditional vehicles, motorcycles must be registered and inspected on a yearly basis.
    • In Texas, helmets are required for riders under the age of 21.
    • Riders over the age of 21 are not required to wear a helmet if they obtain certification and proper insurance coverage.
    • No one under the age of five is allowed to ride as a passenger on a motorcycle.
    • Lane splitting is not legal in the State of Texas.

Be Aware: The 100 Deadliest Days of Summer Are Here!

Posted on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 10:13 pm

Summer 2021 is here and Americans are sure to hit the road in droves, especially considering that we essentially missed the entire summer last year.

While summer is the perfect time for long road trips, cruising around town, and generally enjoying the season, it’s absolutely vital to keep our safety a top priority when behind the wheel–especially teens. During “The 100 Deadliest Days of Summer,” which stretches from Memorial Day to Labor Day, teens face a substantially higher rate of car accidents and car accident fatalities.

Here at J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys, our Weslaco car accident lawyer wants to inform families in the Rio Grande Valley about the dangers of the season and how you can limit the risks associated with driving.

What Parents Need to Know About “The 100 Deadliest Days of Summer”

Unfortunately, in the United States, teenagers face a disproportionately high rate of car accidents and car wreck fatalities, with 16 to 19-year-olds three times more likely to lose their lives when behind the wheel in comparison to drivers aged 20 and over.

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the “We Save Lives” organization:

    • A total of 2,375 teenagers aged 13-19 died in motor vehicle crashes in 2019.
    • An average of 260 teens lose their lives in car crashes each month during the summer; this is a 26% increase in comparison to other months of the year.
    • 60% of teen crashes are a result of distracted driving.
    • The top distraction for teen drivers is other passengers.

Common Dangers for Teen Drivers

Some of the most frequently noted dangers for teen drivers include:

    • Speeding/Reckless Driving – 35% of teenage drivers were speeding at the time of a car accident.
    • Distractions – From cell phone use to too many passengers in the vehicle, inexperienced drivers and distracted driving can easily lead to a fatal car accident.
    • Driving Under the Influence – Driving under the influence of alcohol or other illegal substances is a leading cause of fatal car accidents.
    • Inexperience – Inexperienced drivers may make simple mistakes that can be fatal. Teens should not be allowed to drive alone or without supervision until they are capable and mature enough to do so.

How Parents in the Rio Grande Valley Can Help Their Teen Drivers Stay Safe

As a parent, it is important to recognize that you are the leading example of a safe driver. You have more influence over your children than you may realize, and they will mimic any behaviors you exhibit.

AAA encourages parents to:

    • Talk with your teen driver about the dangers of negligent driving behaviors.
    • Set an example and avoid risky behaviors when behind the wheel.
    • Use whatever resources are available to ensure electronics or cell phones are never used when your teen is driving.
    • Make a parent-teen driving agreement that sets the rules and consequences for failing to meet these rules.

Life-Saving Driving Tips for Teen Drivers in Weslaco, the Rio Grande Valley, and Beyond

As the parent of a teenage driver, it is critical to properly educate your children about the responsibilities and privileges of driving a vehicle. Below are a few essential tips that you should emphasize before giving the keys to your child:

    • Refrain from cell phone use when operating a vehicle.
    • Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
    • Never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • Get proper rest before driving.
    • Always wear a seatbelt.

We hope you and your loved ones keep “The 100 Deadliest Days of Summer” in mind as you travel. Your safety is of the utmost importance and should be taken seriously when behind the wheel.

Why You Should Choose a Spanish-Speaking Lawyer

Posted on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 8:01 am

Texas’s Hispanic population grew by more than 2 million between 2010 to 2020, reaching 11.5 million. It’s estimated that the Hispanic population is on pace to be the largest share in upcoming years.

This flourishing Hispanic population is spread out all across the state with heavy concentrations throughout South Texas–including the Rio Grande Valley. These communities need qualified professionals who can provide exceptional services in Spanish.

This especially includes legal professionals such as lawyers. A Spanish-speaking lawyer can be extremely beneficial for those in need of legal support.

If you or a loved one have been involved in a car accident or have suffered a personal injury, the team at J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys can help you get the justice and compensation you need to begin the healing process.

The Benefits of a Bilingual Attorney for English Speakers

While native English speakers may not realize the benefits of working with a bilingual attorney, the truth is there are many to be had. For instance, a bilingual attorney in McAllen can use their skill set to secure testimony from witnesses who only speak Spanish. As the Rio Grande Valley has many Spanish-speaking only residents, this can prove especially vital.

You’ll get an individual that completely understands the context of what they are trying to say and prove, and then can translate that without error. Trusting a bilingual lawyer to accurately represent your claim is always in your best interest, and it is beneficial to hire a bilingual personal injury lawyer, should the need arise.

Benefits of Working with a Bilingual Attorney for Non-English Speakers

In the U.S., the majority of legal proceedings are carried out in English. Because of this, non-English speakers may not feel confident bringing up a claim against those who have harmed them, but everyone deserves justice.

Some of the benefits of working with a Spanish-speaking lawyer include:

1.Trust and Reliability

When looking for the right attorney to represent you, it is normal to feel a bit anxious, especially when there is a language barrier. You deserve to fully trust the attorney you have hired.

Hiring a Spanish-speaking attorney such as J. Gonzalez will give you the confidence and security you deserve. Our team will be able to communicate with you in Spanish and help you to understand everything regarding your legal situation.

We do not want a language barrier to hurt your experience, and we will make sure that we establish your trust by communicating with you in your native language.

2.Honest and Clear Communication

One of the most important facets of delivering solid results is making sure that there is clear and honest communication between the client and lawyer. Establishing a solid client-attorney relationship means working to ensure nothing gets lost in translation or misinterpreted so that your claim is not hurt.

You are much better off having full control of your communication with your lawyer to avoid a bad situation.

Since the terminology used in the courtroom can be very complex, having your bilingual attorney properly break down the meaning of these terms can also be a huge advantage for you.

3.Results You Can Count On

The Rio Grande City personal injury attorneys of J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys take great pride in delivering outstanding results for all of our clients across the Rio Grande Valley, including our Spanish-speaking clientele.

With over 15 years of experience, we have successfully secured millions in personal injury settlements. We will fight for you until you get the justice and proper compensation you deserve for your personal injury.

Jesse Gonzalez: Your Bilingual Rio Grande Valley Personal Injury Attorney

Speaking in your native language may make it easier to clearly explain exactly what you mean, to feel you’ve been understood, and to understand exactly what your attorney means, as well. For these reasons, hiring a bilingual lawyer is a necessity.
